What You Need to Know About RT- PCR Covid Testing in Las Vegas

We understand that PCR Testing travel requirements can be confusing, frustrating, and flat out inconvenient.

That is why we help in every way we can whether it is explaining the test, performing the test, not price gouging, or simply just getting you what you need when you need it.

Travel requirements will often list out all the different names for a RT-PCR Test when in reality they are all the same exact test.

A good example is when someone calls a Flu Test an Influenza Test. Airlines & destinations will use names like PCR, RT-PCR, Viral Test, NAAT, Lamp, Molecular, Etc instead of just calling it exactly what it is, a RT-PCR Test.

To make sure you are covered, our results list all the different names for the test because, again it is all one test run one way to give you one result.

What Are the Covid-19 Testing Requirements are for most Airlines and/or Destinations?

• A NEGATIVE RT-PCR Covid Test Result from a Licensed Facility.
• The results must include: Patient name, date of birth, date/time of test, date/time test received by lab, date/time resulted, lab license information, lab contact information, providers name, providers office address, providers NPI, test name, & the test result states Negative or Not Detected.
• A NEGATIVE RT-PCR Covid Test within 72 Hours of your Flight.
• Most airlines and destinations are strict on this requirement. If your test result is a minute over the 72 hours they may or may not allow you to board your flight or re-enter your country.
• RT-PCR Testing is Required Regardless of Your Vaccination Status.
• If traveling internationally or domestically it is best to have your vaccine since different countries can have different requirements for non vaccinated travelers.
• You must wait 2 weeks after your second vaccine dose to be considered fully vaccinated.
• Effective November 8th, if you are not fully vaccinated you will not be allowed to enter into the United States.
• An Original Covid-19 Sars Vaccination Card for Each Traveler over the Age of 12.
• Patients ages 5-11 are not eligible to receive the covid vaccine so it will be up to the airline or destination to determine what age they will start requiring proof of vaccination.

There are a lot of pop up "tents", Temporary Buildings, etc popping up around Las Vegas & Henderson advertising covid testing but there is not a licensed provider on staff, non medical staff swabbing, no regulations for proper sanitation, and they use covid kits they typically bought online and are reselling that are not the tests needed for travel.
